Two Weeks Left!

Hey everyone, this isn’t the announcement I wanted to make but I should be honest about my mistakes and there are a lot of them 😬
The biggest one, I misunderstood how to set a goal for my enamel pin campaign. What I should have done was set the goal to fund the first one or two pins and had the rest of them be optional stretch goals. What I actually did was set the goal to be the highest amount needed- the amount to fund all six pins. And the goal can’t be changed so unless I make $242, (or more to cover cancelations and payment failures) Backerkit goals are all or nothing which I didn’t know before starting so there’s a chance I might not make any of these pins.
I could talk to Backerkit, get my project taken down, and then relaunch but I think that’s more trouble than it’s worth honestly.
I feel really embarrassed because I’ve been hyping up my first enamel pin project on every single platform and I’ve been super excited about it ever since I had the idea to create it.
I really hate asking people for money in times like these but that’s kind of what crowdfunding is 😭hopefully after this, I won’t have to ask any of this again.
If you haven’t pledged already, there’s 15 days left so anyone who wants to still has time!

I’m mentally preparing myself to admit that my success is not guaranteed and this kind of thing is probably above my skill level but also I don’t want to quit. I’m currently trying to figure out a way where I can pay the rest of this out of pocket since Backerkit doesn’t let creators pledge to their own projects.
